NDIS Eligibility

To be eligible for the NDIS, one must fulfil the following conditions:

  • Must be aged between 9 and 65 years old.
  • Must be an Australian Citizen, hold an Australian Permanent Residence visa, or a Protected Special Category Visa.
  • Must have a permanent disability that significantly affects your ability to take part in everyday activities.
  • Your permanent impairment must substantially reduce functional capacity in mobility, communication, self-care, learning, or social interaction.

Community & Social Participation Our team will assist you in social and community participation to help develop friendships, confidence and skills. Our support helps you engage in the community, social, recreational and employment activities.

Assist Life Stages This support is further divided into two levels: Level 1 – Support Connection Level 2 – Coordination of Supports

Community Nursing

Community Nursing

PDS dispense clinical nursing and/or personal care services to participants as part of the NDIS plan. Our nursing services are directed by an experienced registered nurse in the comfort of your home.

NDIS Approval Process

  1. Check if you are eligible for the NDIS  age, residency, and disability requirements apply.
  2. PDS will assist you to complete and submit your Access Request Form to the NDIS via phone or online.
  3. Once the NDIS approves your eligibility, PDS will connect you with your Local Area Coordinator to develop your personalised plan, discuss goals, and confirm funding.
  4. After final approval, you will typically receive a decision within 21 days then it’s time to put your plan into action.
